When I was 15, I hated the “emo” scene so much. It was exploding. It was everywhere, like a disease. Sad part of all, what became famous wasn’t real emo (though I’ll explain about that another day). My Chemical Romance was everywhere and the boys in my school didn’t like them for who they are or their music but they like them just because it was the “in” thing. This track was THE outlet for me against this misguided “movement.” 47 seconds of unfettered angst in contrast to what other people were listening. The vibe was strong, powerful that just says "fuck you" to the music all the boys in eyeliner were listening.
